Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is looking for a Childcare Activity Leader in Croydon to run after-school and breakfast club activities for children aged 4–11. You will deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities, supervise with care, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment during split shifts (7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm) under a term-time contract.

The role offers paid training, development opportunities, and discounts on childcare for staff.

Qualifications

• Loves working with children

• Creative thinker

• Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games and creative play
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep environments safe, clean and fun
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm ensuring inclusivity
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly approach
• Work split shifts mornings and afternoons (7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm)
• Be a team player who can take the lead when needed
