The position is tenured at Associate or Full Professor level, leading an externally funded research program on the evolutionary biology of lichens with a collections-based focus. The Department of Biological Sciences, housed in Life Sciences Building, features 65 tenure‑track faculty, the Shirley C. Tucker Herbarium, and broad opportunities for collaboration across campus and laboratories.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Botany, or a related field with a strong publication record in lichenology.

Responsabilités

• Lead a vigorous, extramurally funded research program on the evolutionary biology of lichens.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and mentor graduate students.
