About us

Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en‑suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an ambulatory care unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X‑ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up‑to‑date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron‑led nursing team. We specialise in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology and interventions for chronic pain management.

Job responsibilities

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN) at our hospital you will:

  • Work in a multi‑dis team covering a varied patient caseload

  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
  • Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
