As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in a professional, clean and comfortable environment. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Endoscopy Team supported by our experienced Endoscopy Manager. As part of your role you will be encouraged to attend various in-house and external clinical and personal development opportunities related to the position. We want to invest in you. This vacancy is offering bank/flexi hours to cover sickness and annual leave, allowing you to choose the shifts that work around your current commitments.

Main duties of the job

You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with specialist endoscopy training and experience of working in endoscopy. As an experienced registered nurse you will provide skilled and considerate nursing care to patients in the Endoscopy Department taking into account their specific needs during procedures utilising the appropriate Practice Plus Group Integrated Care Pathway (ICP). Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to coach and support others in your team. We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge.
