In addition, work is also underway to introduce a Transnasal Endoscopy (TNE) Service at the local Community Diagnostic Centre which will enhance local access to minimally invasive diagnostic procedures for upper gastrointestinal conditions, reducing reliance on hospital‑based services and improving patient experience.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Endoscopy team, delivering care and treatments to patients and their families throughout their endoscopy journey. You will be required to support all areas of the patient pathway, and following appropriate training and development you will be required to support the pre‑assessment service nurse‑led consent, co‑ordination of patient flow through the department from admission to discharge, including inpatient activity. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills together with high standards of clinical care and an ability to put patients at ease. You should be adaptable, having the ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to improving standards of patient care.
