Job summary

A regional health organization in Wrexham seeks an enthusiastic administrative staff member for its Endoscopy team. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and Welsh speaking ability at minimum level 3. Competitive salary range of £25,313 to £26,999 per annum, pro-rata. Flexible working options available with a fixed term of 6 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and highly organised individual's to join our Endoscopy team within the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

You will work alongside the nursing staff, Doctors, the public, management and staff from internal and external sources through the provision of clerical duties.

High levels of customer service and excellent communication/interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to use your own initiative to solve problems as they arise.

You will have experience in an administrative role preferably worked with the public and be competent in IT in the workplace. Attention to detail and accurate data capture is paramount.

1 x 37.5 hour posts are available. Job share / part time hours will be considered.

Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal with clinicians, senior managers and clerical staff
  • Good keyboard skills for regular use of computer systems/I.T skills
  • Able to concentrate on Administrative duties within a work pattern in an unpredictable environment with constant interruptions from Patients, medical staff and external agencies.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office similar PAS system.
  • Competent in the use of WPAS Patient Administration System
