We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated booking clerk to join the Endoscopy department at Gate 13, Brunel Building, Southmead Hospital. The successful candidate will contribute to the administrative functioning of Endoscopy department and actively assist the multi-professional team in the provision of a quality service. You will support all aspects of the administration within the department including booking of Endoscopy appointments, co-ordination of the patient care pathway systems and the management of waiting lists. The role requires someone who has great attention to detail and great organisational skills for working in a fast paced, busy department.
This role consist of general administrative duties such as appointment booking, processing of appointment letters, posting out prescribed bowel preparation to patients, adding patients to waiting lists and regularly speaking to patients over the telephone.
