Job summary

Technopride Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to take ownership of testing across multiple component teams for a commercial insurance program. You will lead integration testing, API/Web service testing, and stakeholder coordination to ensure quality releases.

The role emphasizes end-to-end test strategy, automation mentorship, and collaboration with product owners, architects, developers, and operations teams to drive release readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading end-to-end and integration testing across multiple teams.
• Strong API testing with JSON and SOAP protocols.
• Experience with SoapUI or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of commercial insurance concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and cross-team coordination.
• Demonstrated test planning and strategy development experience.
• Familiarity with defect lifecycle management and test management tools (JIRA/TestRail/HP ALM).
• Exposure to release planning and post-release validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end test strategy, planning, execution, and release readiness across multiple component teams.
• Define and implement the integration testing approach between services and systems, ensuring cross-team coverage.
• Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, and integration test suites; track and triage defects.
• Validate APIs and message formats using JSON and SOAP with SoapUI or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Establish test metrics, dashboards and quality gates to inform releases.
• Mentor manual and automation testers and review test artifacts.
• Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and post-release validation.
