Job summary

Stott and May is seeking a Software Engineer who will own customer projects from concept to production, partnering with clients to understand workflows and build end-to-end solutions. You’ll work across the stack, connecting APIs, data sources and AI tools while shaping the technical approach based on real customer needs.

You’ll join an early-stage startup environment, taking ownership beyond writing code, and collaborating with customers to deliver production-ready software and integrations for

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience building products or significant features from conception through to deployment.
• Comfortable working across different parts of a product rather than being limited to one area of the stack.
• Experience working directly with customers, users or non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex business problems.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
• An interest in applied AI and modern engineering tooling.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full lifecycle of a project from customer discovery to deployment.
• Own customer projects and shape solutions end-to-end.
• Connect APIs, data sources, AI platforms and existing customer systems.
• Build products, tools and integrations end-to-end.
• Support customers post-launch and iterate based on usage.
