Job summary

Shaftesbury Kenway Court in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an Enabling Support Worker. You will support residents, follow person-centred plans and promote independence, with focus on inclusion and wellbeing.

You may be asked to administer personal care and medication, keep accurate records, and cover sleep-in shifts (£60 additional pay). DBS/Access NI checks apply; Shaftesbury values Open, Enabling, Inclusive and Courageous approach.

About The Role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

Kenway Court is a residential, community-focused care home in Southend-on-Sea.

The service supports people with intellectual and physical disabilities. People who live at Kenway Court have wide individual choice, with active support from staff. Our service offers nursing support to those with complex needs.
