Job summary

Shaftesbury Wall Street is recruiting an Enabling Support Worker in Hereford to support people with disabilities in a residential setting. You will follow person-centred support plans, assist with daily living tasks and personal care, maintain accurate records, and may administer medications as required.

There is sleep-in duty with an extra £60 per sleep-in, and we offer a comprehensive training package, generous leave, a pension scheme, and access to an employee assistance programme.

About the role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

Wall Street is a residential home in Hereford city centre. The service offers state-of-the-art equipment and facilities and highly trained staff.

With a specialism in supporting people with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and acquired brain injury or stroke, the service takes a person-centred, flexible approach. With the people that use our services, we create care and support plans that meet personal goals and needs. Personal choice about how they live is top of the list for people who live at Wall Street, with active support from staff.
