Job summary

London Ambulance is seeking motivated Emergency Medical Technicians to join the Clinical Hub at Newham EOC, supporting triage, information gathering and escalation of high-risk calls. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, using Cleric and other digital platforms in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves gathering information, recording clear clinical details, and delivering timely emergency care while adhering to policies and guidelines, including a DDNN shift pattern and CORE

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Trainee Emergency Medical Technician programme or equivalent.
• Demonstrable interpersonal communication and social skills; able to handle stressful/sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency and urgent care to a wide range of patient groups; assess and treat at point of contact or refer onward.
• Operate as an independent practitioner alongside a Paramedic or qualified staff in line with Clinical Practice Guidelines and service policy.
