Job summary

Ark Dickens Primary Academy in Portsmouth is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of pupils across the school day. You will help implement lesson activities, monitor progress, and support classroom routines in collaboration with teachers.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ TA experience, experience with children with diverse learning, physical and social needs, and strong interpersonal skills to work well with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a teaching assistant.
• Experience with children with specific learning, physical and social needs.
• Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Have high expectations of pupil behaviour.
