Job summary

Fosse Way School in England seeks caring and energetic staff to support pupils aged 3 to 19 in a vibrant, joyful environment. You will help pupils grow in confidence and independence, with a strong focus on safeguarding and personal development.

The role offers 32 hours per week during term time, plus 5 inset days. We encourage applicants who value teamwork, professional development, and making a positive difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the pupils’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters
• Use specialist (curricular/learning) skills, training &experience to support pupils
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programmes
• Monitor and evaluate pupils’ responses to learning activities through observation and planned recording of achievement against pre-determined learning objectives
• Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils in activities
