Job summary

UKCIL is seeking a Personal Assistant Support worker (Female Preferred) in Clifton, Bristol. This role offers 9 hours per week at £12.60 per hour, with flexible AM or PM shifts on weekdays.

You will support daily routines, time management, and light household tasks for a disabled person, providing motivation, emotional support, and encouragement while prioritising safety and privacy. DBS check funded is required.

Qualifications

• Female preferred due to personal needs.
• Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions is essential.
• DBS check required (funded).

Responsibilities

• Encouragement in managing task load and daily routine.
• Aiding memory improvement including building commitment to exercises for mobility and rehabilitation.
• Providing encouragement to complete light household tasks such as laundry and cleaning.
• Prompting regular shopping and preparing of meals within budget (gluten and lactose-free as needed).
• Helping with organisation, planning, and balancing tasks to manage fatigue.
• Offering calm, consistent support with emotional regulation and day-to-day challenges.
• Guiding time management to reduce procrastination and manage medical appointments.
