Job summary

Outwood Academy Brumby in Scunthorpe is seeking a dedicated One to One Tutor to plan, implement and deliver a broad, differentiated curriculum for individual students. You will deliver intervention programmes, encourage academic growth and promote the academy's inclusive ethos.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a related subject or AS/A2 in a relevant subject, or be a qualified teacher.
• Excellent communication and listening skills are essential.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intervention programmes to individuals, working with department staff to prepare learning experiences.
• Develop intervention materials, lesson plans and resources.
• Report on pupil progress and liaise with Head of Department and teachers for feedback.
• Support exam revision sessions and comply with safeguarding procedures.
