Job summary

SAY Devon is recruiting to join our team in the Beaworthy area of Devon as a support worker. You will help individuals live independently by supporting budgeting, cooking, correspondence, and wellbeing while promoting dignity and choice.

A valid driving license and access to a car are essential, as travel between local sites may be required. We do not provide personal care or administer medications, but we offer prompts, while you will be supported with training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment preferred.
• Must have a valid driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Provide budgeting and finance assistance to service users as needed.
• Assist with cooking and nutrition planning for individuals.
• Handle correspondence and paperwork related to support plans.
• Support health and wellbeing and daily living activities for service users.
