Overview

We are recruiting two additional Employment Specialists to join our award winning service. This role will be community based, working with clients with severe and enduring mental health needs, using the evidenced based model of Individual Placement and Support, supporting individuals into sustained paid employment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with severe and enduring mental health needs, assisting them to secure sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences.
  • Deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach and provide person-centered advice and guidance while building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
  • Build positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
  • Work with individuals and groups across Bradford District Care Trust in collaboration with health and social care professionals within Community Mental Health Teams, Primary Care Networks, and outside agencies and employers.
  • Engage directly with employers to secure employment opportunities and provide ongoing support according to service users’ and employers’ needs.
  • Hold responsibility and autonomy for delivering contract KPIs within an allocated team.
