Employment Solicitor 3+ PQE - Bedfordshire

Well regarded multi-office regional law firm seeks a senior employment solicitor to join their team based in Bedfordshire. Our client is an established and well known firm with a respected employment practice. The firm is keen to appoint a talented employment solicitor with c5 years+ pqe to join their busy and expanding team. With experience of contentious and non-contentious employment work, you will manage a predominantly respondent caseload, acting on behalf of SMEs, OMBs, LLPs, partnerships and other larger companies on varied and challenging employment law issues.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Advising both employers and employees
  • Negotiating settlement agreements
  • Employment Tribunal work including advocacy
  • Drafting terms and conditions, employment contracts and agreements, TUPE advice and equal pay issues
  • Supervising trainees and more junior members of the team

For businesses who do not have any dedicated HR resource, the team also offer these businesses services such as assistance with day-to-day HR issues, applying employment law to business objectives and assisting businesses to ensure they are compliant with current and future legislation.

You will also be responsible for initiating business development activities including writing articles and participating in webinars and networking.
