Employment Solicitor (2-5 PQE) | Manchester | Hybrid Working

A well-established and highly regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor (2-5 years' PQE) to join its growing Employment team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer who is keen to take ownership of their work, build trusted relationships with clients, and progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The role offers genuine long-term career development.

The Role

You will join a respected employment practice advising a broad range of employer clients, including HR professionals, senior leadership teams and business owners. The work is varied, high quality and commercially focused, offering significant scope to develop your profile and practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Advising employers on the full spectrum of employment law, with particular focus on:
• Senior exits and settlement agreements
• TUPE transfers
• Collective redundancies and restructurings
• Conducting Employment Tribunal litigation from inception through to hearing
• Supporting the corporate team on employment aspects of transactions
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Playing an active role in business development and practice growth

The role reports into a senior employment partner based in the firm's Liverpool office, offering access to experienced leadership and mentoring.

About You

This position would suit an enthusiastic and commercially minded Employment Solicitor who is keen to develop their own practice and take the next step in their career.

You will ideally have:

• 2-5 years' PQE in employment law (applications outside this range may still be considered)
• Experience running your own employment caseload
• Strong Employment Tribunal experience
• A proactive approach to client care and business development
• Ambition to progress towards partnership in the medium term
