Dispute Resolution Solicitor – Litigation Solicitor

Brighton & Hove – East Sussex (Hybrid)

About the Role:

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Employment Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will work on a diverse mix of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, advising both employers and employees across London, Sussex and Kent. This role offers exposure to high-quality work, strong client interaction and excellent prospects for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise employers and employees on a full range of employment law issues
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Support redundancy and restructuring exercises
  • Advise on discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and other employment disputes
  • Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings
  • Negotiate settlement agreements and exit packages
  • Deliver practical, commercial advice to help clients manage workplace risk
About You:
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3-5 years' PQE in employment law
  • Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Excellent client-handling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage own caseload and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
