Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking an Employment Solicitor (NQ-5 Years PQE) to join their expanding Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking firm offering genuine hybrid working and long-term progression.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with partners and senior associates while managing their own files with appropriate supervision.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, redundancy processes and restructures, TUPE and business transfers, drafting and reviewing contracts of employment and workplace policies, settlement agreements and negotiations, and Employment Tribunal matters.
  • Managing your own caseload efficiently.
  • Drafting high-quality legal documentation and correspondence.
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters when required.
  • Participating in business development and profile-raising activities.
Candidate Requirements
  • Between NQ and 5 years' PQE in employment law.
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience.
  • Excellent communication, drafting and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercially minded with strong client care skills.
