Qualifications

A leading Top 100 UK law firm is seeking an Employment Partner to join its West End office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a partner with a strong respondent-side practice to join a nationally recognised team advising an impressive client base across a broad range of sectors.

You will play a key role in the continued growth of the practice, advising businesses on complex and strategic employment matters while helping to develop client relationships and mentor junior team members.

The Employment team acts for a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including technology, real estate, retail, consumer, media, energy, private equity and financial services, among others.

The Role

As an Employment Partner, you will advise employer clients on the full spectrum of employment law issues, including:

• TUPE and business restructures
• Discrimination and equalities matters
• Redundancy and workforce reorganisations
• Disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Employment contracts, policies and executive matters
• Employment Tribunal litigation
• Strategic HR and employment law advice

You will also play an active role in business development, strengthening existing client relationships, winning new work and supporting the ongoing growth of the team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• 10+ years' PQE with a strong employment law background
• Significant experience advising employerclients
• A proven track record gained within a respected commercial law firm
• Strong business development and relationship management skills
• Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• A collaborative approach and ambition to contribute to the continued success of the team
