Job summary

Yolk Recruitment seeks an Employment Lawyer (2-5 PQE) in Cheltenham. This role is hybrid with flexible working, offering a clear progression path and a supportive team.

You will advise businesses and individuals on a broad range of employment matters, from day-to-day HR issues to tribunal disputes. You'll draft contracts and policies, handle tribunal claims, and provide practical HR guidance, with a culture that values balance, trusted client relationships, and a thoughtful, non-bureaucratic

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Employment lawyer with 2-5 PQE.
• Experience advising businesses and individuals on employment law matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advising on unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination, termination disputes and restrictive covenants.
• Managing employment tribunal claims and assisting clients with dispute resolution.
• Drafting and advising on employment contracts, director service agreements, policies and handbooks.
• Advising employers on HR matters, restructures and TUPE transfers.
• Providing practical advice and training on employment issues and absence management.
• Building lasting client relationships and delivering clear, commercially focused advice.

They're now looking to welcome an Employment Lawyer (2-5 PQE) to the team.

The Role:

You’ll advise both businesses and individuals on a broad range of employment law matters, from day-to-day HR advice to complex disputes and tribunal claims.

Your work will include:

• Advising on unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination, termination disputes and restrictive covenants.
• Managing employment tribunal claims and supporting clients with dispute resolution.
• Drafting and advising on employment contracts, director service agreements, workplace policies and employee handbooks.
• Advising employers on HR matters, restructures, redundancies and TUPE transfers.
• Providing practical advice and training on employment issues, including disciplinary procedures and absence management.
• Building lasting client relationships and delivering clear, commercially focused advice.
