Location: Suffolk or London. Significant office presence required in London & Suffolk (and other Sizewell C locations as necessary). Employment type: Permanent, full‑time. Closing Date: Friday 5th December 2025. Salary: c£64,000 depending on experience.
Benefits include:
We operate on an office‑based contract model, but support hybrid working where possible. This means you’ll need to be based within reasonable travel distance of the office and able to attend in person when business needs require – typically 3 days per week, though this may vary by team or project.
The Sizewell C team is one of the most exciting and largest new megaprojects in the UK, while being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. We have begun constructing a 3.2‑gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast in the East of England, replicating where possible the design used for Hinkley Point C. When built, Sizewell C will be one of the largest power stations to operate in the UK, generating low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years and supplying over 6 million homes, supporting around 7 % of the UK’s current electricity needs.
As Employment Compliance Manager, you’ll ensure that all employment and contingent workforce processes at Sizewell C operate in full compliance with UK legislation, company policy, and project standards. You’ll be the subject‑matter expert on employment law, workforce governance and immigration compliance, supporting our transition to an independent, fully compliant organisation. This role covers employees, embedded contractors, and non‑embedded contingent workers – promoting consistent, fair, and lawful practice across the organisation.
It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK. Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility that we can explore, we are fully committed to local recruitment where possible, and to those already holding the right to work in the UK. To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for security vetting, which will ordinarily require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
By submitting an application to this role, you acknowledge that you have read and understood Sizewell C’s employee privacy policy and EDF's employee privacy policy. Just to let you know, EDF will be processing and sharing information about your application on behalf of Sizewell C.
