An established legal firm in the UK is seeking an Employment Associate with 1-3 PQE to join their dynamic team in Leicester. The role involves providing high-level client service, managing financial responsibilities, and contributing to business development. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a passion for employment law. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse team in a supportive environment.
The Employment Team is led by Rena Magdani (who is based in the Leicester office) and is ranked in Band 1 in Chambers & Partners and recognised as a Leader in the Field by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500. The Team comprises over 48 employment specialists across the country. The team provide a specialist employment law and HR advisory service to a range of companies from PLCs to SMEs. This includes advice on disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancy, restructures and strategic advice to senior management teams and boards. They also advise senior executives and professionals in all aspects of the employment relationship. We are seeking an Employment Associate with circa 1‑3 PQE to join our friendly and dynamic team, ideally to be based in our Leicester, Nottingham or Birmingham office. This position also offers a rare opportunity to work on a secondment for our longstanding client for part of the week, where the individual will be involved in a wide variety of matters outlined above, as well as providing internal training on HR matters. The nature of the work is fast paced and our clients’ interests are paramount so you must possess and demonstrate an enthusiasm, energy and passion for employment law, have exceptionally strong communication skills and work well in a team. The team takes a holistic approach to their work, offering a corporate level of service with a personal touch.
