An organization supporting vulnerable young people in the UK is seeking an Education, Employment and Training Adviser to join their Virtual School service. This role involves managing a cohort of looked-after children and care leavers, promoting their engagement in education, employment, and training. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Education, Employment and Training (EET) Adviser to join a Virtual School service supporting looked‑after children and care leavers. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference to young people's lives by improving access to education, training and employment pathways.
You will play a key role in supporting children and young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET. Working as part of a Virtual School team, you will support and challenge professionals, influence outcomes and work directly with young people to help them achieve sustained positive destinations.
A key focus of the role is contributing to a Care Leaver Youth Trailblazers‑style programme, designed to improve education, employment and training outcomes through targeted support, employer engagement and partnership working.
You will have experience working within education, employment, training or children's services and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable young people, including looked‑after children and care leavers.
