Employee Relations Manager

Morson are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable national organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Manager on a fixed-term contract until January 2027.

We’re seeking an experienced ER professional who is confident leading complex employee relations matters and providing expert guidance across a wide range of cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive people team and make a real impact across a multi-site organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the UK-wide employee relations agenda across multiple locations
  • Manage a high-volume caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability matters and tribunal activity
  • Line-manage and support the development of an ER Advisor, acting as the escalation point for complex cases
  • Deliver key ER projects including policy development and national training programmes
  • Build strong relationships with operational and senior stakeholders, attending key meetings when required
  • Provide ER reporting, insights and MI to inform business decisions
  • Coach and support managers on employee relations best practice
About You
  • Proven experience managing a wide range of ER cases end-to-end
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident stakeholder manager with exceptional communication skills
  • Experience coaching and developing managers and team members
  • Able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working Arrangements

This role offers flexible remote working, with the expectation to travel for key meetings, training delivery and site visits when required. The organisation’s head office is based in York.
