Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global healthcare company in their search for an Employee Relations Business Partner to join its team. This role will focus predominantly on case work with some strategy. The role reports directly into the CHRO with a dotted line into the Director of ER. This role is hybrid 4 days on site and 1 working from home.

Scope of the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Employee Relations specialist to drive performance and to create a culture where people thrive. As an excellent coach, you’ll use these skills alongside your employee relations and HR expertise to deliver high quality, proactive case management and support for all employee relation matters. Examples include capability, disciplinary, grievances, absence management, ACAS conciliations, tribunal clams, appeals and flexible working requests.

Candidate Profile

You will be a committed HR professional with an expertise in employee relations. You will have a positive, upbeat and “can-do” attitude looking for the next step up in your career or someone already operating as a employee relations business partner looking for their next challenge.

You will have experience working in a busy work environment as well as managing a heavy case load (circa 30 cases at a time) and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will be commercially astute and have a people centred approach using data to support your decisions. You will be inquisitive and keen to understand themes that arise when supporting your business areas, and look to drive performance by empowering your stakeholders, and by the initiatives you deliver.
