A local government council in Aberystwyth is seeking an Employee Communications and Marketing Assistant. This part-time position involves promoting job opportunities and enhancing internal communications. The ideal candidate has a creative approach, attention to detail, and can communicate effectively in both Welsh and English. This role offers a hybrid work model, generous leave, and a supportive team environment.

Are you a creative communicator with a flair for detail, design and an interest in HR? We’re looking for a motivated and creative communicator to join our Employee Engagement team as an Employee Communications and Marketing Assistant on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

Working pattern
This is a job-share position working 14.8 hours per week. It’s envisaged that the successful post holder will work the hours across 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday), though this can be negotiated for the right candidate.
Secondment
This could be an excellent secondment opportunity for someone wishing to gain experience in recruitment, marketing and internal communications. If you wish to apply on a secondment basis, please ensure you have your line manager’s approval before applying so you can return to your substantive post once the secondment ends.
