Kingston College is seeking an Employability Coordinator to join the Employability team. You will build and manage external employer partnerships, oversee work placements and employability activities for full-time learners, and ensure learners gain meaningful industry experience while complying with safety policies.
Reporting to the Head of Employability, you will develop relationships with stakeholders, work under pressure to deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement of placement
28.8 hour a week over 52 weeks a year (0.8 FTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employability Coordinator to join our Employability team at at Kingston College!
As Employability Coordinator, you will build on our existing external employer partnerships, build new ones and oversee the monitoring and organisation of Work Placements and Employability activities for our full-time learners.
Working with the Head of Employability, you will ensure all our Study Programme/T-Level learners gain meaningful work experience/industry placements, adhere to health and safety policies and practices and monitor and record work experience/placements on college systems.
We’re looking for someone who is confident and engaging – someone who can develop pro-active relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With high personal standards and expectations, you will work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines, and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.
You will ideally hold a degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject and be active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries.
