Aviva Investors is recruiting a Research Analyst based in London. You will conduct in-depth fundamental credit research for sovereign and corporate issuers, develop financial models, and produce clear investment recommendations.

The role involves collaboration with fixed income teams, ESG colleagues and portfolio managers to deliver robust views and timely updates. The position offers growth within a high-performing research environment, with exposure to global markets and opportunities to

Qualifications

• Confidence to challenge constructively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Experience integrating ESG or non-financial risk into credit conclusions (or strong interest in doing so).
• Strong fundamental analysis, including a demonstrable process for assessing credits.
• Experience producing clear written recommendations and communicating views succinctly to investment stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in-depth issuer analysis to form clear, well-supported investment opinions, using financial models including sensitivity, scenario and stress testing.
• Produce written research, assign ratings and outlooks, and identify trade opportunities across the fixed income platform.
• Monitor credit developments and provide timely updates to keep insights current and relevant.
• Collaborate with broader fixed income research teams, portfolio managers and ESG colleagues to incorporate financial and non-financial considerations.
• Present issuer views at internal forums and build relationships with issuers, sell-side analysts, banks and industry experts.
