Job summary

IVC Evidensia is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the Emergency Out of Hours team at our Glasgow hospital. You will deliver high‑quality emergency care in a 24/7 setting, supported by an experienced ECC team and mentorship from senior clinicians.

The role involves a mixture of shifts including days, backshifts, and nights, with a focus on developing clinical confidence and advancing skills in a stimulating caseload.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration required.
• Experience in emergency care is preferred.
• Willingness to work out-of-hours and rota shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care in out-of-hours shifts.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team in Glasgow hospital.
• Collaborate with lead vets and ECC specialists to deliver care.
