Vets Now Hemel Hempstead is recruiting Vet Surgeons for emergency and critical care. You can choose between a permanent role or a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position involves an average of 40 hours per week across weekday nights, weekend days and nights on a 1:2 rota, with bank holidays shared.

You’ll join an experienced ECC team with nurses holding VNCertECC and PGCert in ECC, delivering a varied caseload with a strong private patient base and supportive development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work as Vet Surgeon in emergency and critical care.
• 40 hours per week on a 1:2 rota including weekday nights, weekend days and nights, with bank holiday work.
• Rotas rotate four weekly cycle; option to choose permanent or 12‑month FTC.
• Supportive clinical team with ECC specialists and experienced nurses.
