If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.

The post holder will support the Head of Emergency Preparedness, Resilience & Response (EPRR), tasked with providing administrative support; managing debrief processes; designing, developing, and delivering specialised EPRR training and advice. The post holder will support both strategic and operational aspects of EPRR within the Trust and across the UHD footprint.
The role is crucial in ensuring compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and NHS England EPRR guidelines, fulfilling the Trust’s role as a Category 1 responder. Responsibilities include managing the administration of the UHD EPRR function; contributing to the development and implementation of business continuity and incident response plans; supporting the annual EPRR core standards assurance process; and coordinating / delivering EPRR exercises and staff training.
Regular travel across all UHD sites is required to effectively manage and respond to EPRR needs across the organisation.
