Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Emergency Nurse Practitioner for the Urgent Treatment Centre at Halton Hospital, Runcorn. The role involves history taking, examination and management of adults and children with minor injuries and illnesses, with academic training provided if needed.

Applicants should have ED/UTC experience, be able to work across sites, and demonstrate autonomous practice.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with UK PIN and current registration.
• Experience in ED/UTC or urgent care settings preferred.
• Ability to assess, plan and deliver urgent care for adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with minor injuries/illnesses.
• Provide safe, evidence-based care within the Urgent Treatment Centre; collaborate with MDT.
