A regional healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to deliver high-standard emergency care for patients with minor injuries. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and the potential for referrals or discharges. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, resilience under pressure, and experience in an emergency environment. Opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements are offered.
The primary focus of this role is to work autonomously and provide high‑quality, timely, patient‑centred care, applying expert knowledge of emergency care theories and practice. You will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment and, where appropriate, referral or discharge of a diverse range of patients with minor injuries.
Support is provided through an established team, an induction period and a clearly defined role to aid your progression. The department benefits from an ED Professional Development Nurse, a broad learning environment, and a range of departmental champions that promote specialist support. New clinicians are encouraged to work within a multidisciplinary team, aiding audits and service development.
At the Dudley Group, our patients and staff are central to everything we do. We actively encourage applications from under‑represented groups, including those who are ethnically diverse, disabled, LGBTQ+ or from male and non‑binary backgrounds.
We offer extensive development opportunities through our Learning & OD department, covering communication, wellbeing, team development, cultural competency, and more. Management roles benefit from additional programmes, including a Managers Essentials Programme and a Leadership Programme, all part of the Dudley Managers Induction.

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is part of the Black Country Provider Collaborative, partnering with four NHS trusts to deliver safer, faster care. The role may involve flexible working across these sites to meet patient and service needs.

All applicants are welcomed, and we promote inclusivity for disabled and LGBTQ+ staff, using all pronouns and encouraging diverse participation. Our policy requires that we interview all candidates with a disability who meet the essential criteria and that all applicants complete the equal‑opportunities questions.
