Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma in Physician Associate Studies required.
• GMC registration required.
• National Certifying certification or recertification required.
• Passed and completed 1 year post graduate preceptorship.

Responsibilities

• Participation in the clinical care of patients.
• Ensure the provision of a high standard of care at all times.
• Undertake patient consultations, assessments, clinical examinations, order investigations under the guidance of an Emergency Medicine Consultant.
• Rotation across all areas of the Emergency Department and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to development of efficient pathways of care.
• Work flexibly to meet service needs, including out-of-hours work with an Emergency Medicine Consultant.
