Job summary

Location Medical Services (LMS), part of the Ambulnz Group, is recruiting Emergency Medical Technicians for bank and PAYE roles within our Events & Film/Media team. We operate a CQ C-registered service across diverse events and NHS contracts, offering development support and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK manual driving licence with 1+ year driving experience and no more than 6 points on licence.
• You will hold a Technician /AAP qualification.
• Physical fitness is important; may need to reach inaccessible patients and perform CPR.

• Have adaptable and flexible work ethic; productions run 7 days a week with varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical attention to production crews and cast.
• Stabilise patients and prepare them for transport.
• Respond to operational requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
• Drive Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency conditions.
• Work autonomously as a solo medic or as part of an ambulance crew.

Location Medical Services (LMS), part of the Ambulnz Group, is excited to announce new opportunities for Emergency Medical Technicians. We are currently recruiting for both bank and PAYE positions within our Events & Film/Media team.

LMS is a CQC-registered healthcare provider delivering professional medical services across a wide range of events, including music festivals, marathons, horse trials, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, and more. We also provide NHS-contracted paramedic home visiting services and support film and media productions.

What will you be doing:

• Pay - £17.50 per hour
• You may be working as part of an ambulance crew covering a transporting ambulance.
• Autonomous working as a solo medic providing medical attention to production crews and cast.
• Providing lifesaving treatment and stabilising patients preparing them for transporting.
• Using your own appropriate knowledge and skills to make judgements and treatment following your level of training and competency.
• Responding to operational requirements in a safe and efficient way.
• Driving all types of approved Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.

Role Requirements:

• Hold a UK manual driving license for at least 1 years driving experience and no more than 6 points on your license.
• You will hold a Technician /AAP qualification.
• Physical fitness is important in this role as there is sometimes a requirement to reach inaccessible patients in a hurry (lots of stairs), manual handling and CPR.
• Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
• Have an adaptable and flexible work ethic - Media productions often work 7 days a week including a mixture of shift times.
• Lastly, you will have quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
