A leading healthcare provider in Cheshire is seeking a dedicated Nurse for its Emergency Department. You will focus on delivering high-quality, family-centred care to both children and adults. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric care and excellent communication skills. The role involves working closely within a multidisciplinary team and providing support to patients and their families. Training opportunities are available to enhance your professional development.
As a Nurse within ED you will be part of a brilliant, friendly, hard‑working team who strive for excellence and support each other. The role is primarily looking after the needs of adults, children and their families, using a holistic approach. You will identify their health and well‑being needs using assessment skills, prioritise care and provide excellent standards of treatment to both the patient and their families or carers.
You will use the skills and training you already have coupled with those you will acquire through the fantastic training opportunities on offer. Providing support and health promotion to families that attend is crucial and good communication skills with children, families and other members of the multi‑disciplinary team is essential. The trust has guidelines and policies to follow that you will become familiar with to help support your clinical management of patients.
This role will be carried out in our brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art, purpose‑built ED unit. Current staff have worked hard to fundraise to purchase play and sensory equipment and artwork to make the unit as child‑friendly and stress‑free as possible.
