Contract: Full Time (including occasional evenings, weekends, and night shifts as required)

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to take on the role of Administrative Coordinator within our Urgent and Emergency Care Department at Wexham Park Hospital. This newly established position offers an opportunity to shape and develop the role in collaboration with the Directorate Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Band 2 and Band 3 administrative staff, overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Support and motivate your team to consistently provide excellent customer care throughout a 24/7, 365-day service.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of critical incidents, helping to develop and restructure administrative services as needed to meet evolving departmental demands.
  • Take responsibility for workforce planning and recruitment, ensuring staffing levels are appropriate and new hires are effectively onboarded.
  • Ensure that all team members complete mandatory training and appraisals on time, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain staff performance, providing guidance, support and development opportunities to promote a skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Provide administrative support to the Urgent and Emergency Care Department, ensuring smooth operation and high standards of service delivery, and coordinate with the Directorate Service Manager.
