Job Overview

Represent the Dental Team at their clinic in a professional manner at all times. This is a front‑of‑house position that requires someone who can work under pressure. Participate in annual performance reviews and regular supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the Dental Team at their clinic in a professional manner at all times.
  • Work under pressure as a front‑of‑house team member.
  • Participate in annual performance reviews and regular supervision.
  • Ensure all patients' records, both in paper form and electronically, are kept up to date, stored correctly, and filed for confidentiality purposes, following the Data Protection Act.
  • Ensure that every patient completes a medical history form.
  • Advise daytime staff of any relevant issues by using the communications book.
  • Attend mandatory Basic Life Support training to be competent to provide or give advice in the event of a medical emergency.
Qualifications
  • Secondary level education with literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with sessions from 5.30 pm to 10 pm on Monday evenings and 08.30 am to 01 pm on weekends and bank holidays.
  • Well‑organised, able to prioritise and work on own initiative without direct supervision, while enjoying teamwork to provide excellent patient care.
