A community-focused housing organization in Stockport seeks a Control Room Operative for their newly restructured CCTV Control Room. This role involves providing 24/7 monitoring of public spaces, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety of tenants. Candidates need to obtain an SIA licence, with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication. The position is full-time, permanent and offers a dynamic work environment with shift rotations.

The role of the Control Room Operative is an exciting and important role for Stockport Homes Group (SHG) in the newly restructured CCTV Control Room. The role will take operations responsibility for the organisations CCTV service and ‘Out of Hours’ response in the event of an emergency.

The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory basic clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service and satisfactory enhanced employment references going back 5 years. Additionally, the applicant must have the ability to successfully apply for and obtain an SIA CCTV Licence, which will be provided as part of the employment and funded by SHG. The applicant will also be required to complete GMP Vetting for the use of Police Airwaves Radios, which requires the applicant to have been a UK resident for 3 years or more.
