Job Summary

We are seeking motivated Emergency Care Assistants to join our Acute Medical Services team, supporting the delivery of exceptional care across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and the Short Stay Unit (SSU). This position offers a structured training programme designed to equip you with essential clinical competencies, including baseline observations, ECG recording, cardiac monitoring, venepuncture, cannulation, basic life support, wound care, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, and assistance with mobility, nutrition, hygiene and comfort. You will also become familiar with medical equipment, operation layout and uphold best practices in health and safety at all times.

Main Duties

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a virtual information and guidance session and will progress through a series of assessments and interview.

  • Virtual session – Wednesday, 12 November 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
  • Math’s and English assessment – Monday, 17 November 2025
  • Interview – Tuesday, 25 November 2025 (date may change)
