Informa is seeking a VAT Compliance Manager based at a hybrid setup with two offices in London and Colchester. You will lead the VAT team and ensure efficient day-to-day compliance across EMEA, reporting to the Head of Tax Compliance & Statutory Accounting for EMEA & APAC.

You will deliver complex VAT advice, drive process improvements, coordinate with tax authorities and support audits while developing a high-performing team and maintaining strong internal controls.

Formación

• Significant knowledge of SAP, Oracle and relevant sales order processing systems.
• 6 years relevant VAT experience.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people development.
• Experience with acquisitions and disposals.
• Excellent knowledge of all Tax processes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversight of EMEA VAT compliance for all legal entities and liaising with advisors as required.
• Provision of complex VAT advice to SSC teams and operating divisions including new requirements.
• Identification and delivery of process and systems improvements / automation by leading special projects.
• Oversee setting up new VAT registrations and liaising with tax authorities.
• Manage VAT due diligence and provide advice on acquisitions, divestments and other projects.
• Ensure systems are up to date for VAT rate changes and maintain risk review registers.
• Preparation and delivery of VAT training to Tax & Financial Accounting teams.
• Oversee EMEA VAT balance sheet reconciliations and support audits.
