Job description

Intuit is seeking an EMEA Staff Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead complex, high-impact sourcing initiatives across Marketing, Services and Technology categories for EMEA. This is an individual contributor role for a senior sourcing professional who thrives in ambiguity, operates independently, and partners effectively with senior leaders. This role requires good expertise across the different categories, understanding its impact on business outcomes and total cost of ownership, with a focus on driving business transformation.

This role plays a critical part in enabling Intuit's growth, operational excellence, and innovation. In this role, you will develop category strategies, lead negotiations, and manage critical supplier relationships across EMEA. You will connect third-party capabilities with Intuit's value chain to optimize investments, manage risk, and unlock value across EMEA business teams. You will collaborate with senior leaders across Intuit to identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost optimization, and risk mitigation, ensuring best value from third-party investments. You'll influence through expertise, data, and clear communication—remaining hands-on while driving measurable business outcomes.

This role requires a strategic, highly analytical leader and strong connector who can synthesize insights across third-party partners, Intuit's value chain, and business outcomes to drive growth and innovation. You will develop and execute sourcing and category strategies, identify and quantify value opportunities, and lead RFx processes and complex vendor negotiations to deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities
Category Leadership & Transformation
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing and category strategies across key Marketing areas (including Media, Creative, Social, Influencer Marketing, and Public Relations), Services and Technology. Lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact initiatives that drive business and operating model transformation through innovative sourcing approaches, process optimization, and scalable governance.
Strategic Sourcing
  • Own and lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives—from demand assessment and market analysis through sourcing strategy development, competitive processes (RFPs, RFQs), and supplier selection—to align with business objectives. Optimize total cost of ownership by evaluating commercial models, performance metrics, and risk, while maximizing long-term value through scalable solutions, strong governance, and outcome-based partnerships.
Complex Negotiation & Contracting
  • Lead high-stakes, high-value negotiations with global and local suppliers to achieve best-in-class commercial outcomes and manage risk. Drive the development and negotiation of MSAs and SOWs in close partnership with Legal, Finance, Data Security, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Design and lead a strategic SRM model to govern and strengthen critical supplier partnerships. Drive performance management through regular business reviews, data-driven scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary sourcing partner to senior leaders. Translate complex business needs into actionable sourcing strategies that support growth, innovation, and financial objectives.
Data-Driven Value Creation
  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to conduct spend analysis, scenario modeling, and sourcing evaluations. Build clear, fact-based business cases that quantify value, inform decision-making, and track measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional sourcing initiatives from strategy through execution, managing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder alignment to deliver results at scale.
Process Optimization & Governance
  • Drive continuous improvement of sourcing processes and governance to increase efficiency, reduce cycle times, and ensure compliance.
  • Identify, design, and deploy AI-powered automation across sourcing workflows—including RFx generation, supplier evaluation, contract analysis, and spend reporting. Develop and scale agentic processes that reduce manual effort, accelerate cycle times, and improve decision quality. Champion an AI-first mindset within the team, proactively exploring emerging tools and embedding them into repeatable, scalable sourcing operations.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of strategic sourcing and category management experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience across various categories
  • Proven ownership of enterprise-critical initiatives with executive visibility
Data, Digital & Analytics
  • Strong expertise in spend analytics, cost modeling, and should-cost analysis
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights
  • Hands-on experience with source-to-pay platforms (e.g., Coupa) and the end-to-end procurement lifecycle
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled and digital tools to improve sourcing effectiveness and efficiency
AI Fluency & Modern Tooling
  • Demonstrated, hands-on fluency with generative AI tools in a professional context, and specifically Claude for tasks such as contract review, RFP synthesis, commercial analysis, reporting and stakeholder communications.
  • Proven ability to build or apply AI-powered workflows (e.g., prompt design, structured document analysis, AI-assisted spend/contract intelligence tools) to accelerate sourcing cycles and improve decision quality.
  • A builder's mindset toward AI adoption — comfortable evaluating and championing new AI capabilities within the sourcing function, not just using AI as a passive assistant.
  • Familiarity with agentic and integration-based AI workflows (e.g., connecting AI tools to Slack, Google Drive, Coupa, or similar platforms) is a strong plus.
AI Automation
  • Proven ability to identify automation opportunities across the sourcing lifecycle and deploy AI agents or workflow tools to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks
  • Experience building or directing AI-assisted processes for RFx development, supplier scoring, contract redlining, or spend analysis
  • Ability to evaluate, pilot, and scale AI automation tools in a procurement context, with a track record of driving measurable efficiency gains
  • Comfortable working at the intersection of procurement and technology—able to translate business needs into automation requirements and partner with technical teams to implement solutions
Core Competencies
  • Category Strategy & Transformation: Ability to design and evolve category strategies that drive business outcomes, optimize supplier ecosystems, and embed process automation and governance
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Proven success leading complex, high-value negotiations and structuring MSAs and SOWs
  • Program Leadership: Ability to independently lead multiple cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Executive Influence: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data and expertise
