Job summary

Catalyst Partners is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple European countries. The role requires staying updated on payroll legislation, taxation, and social security, while working closely with external vendors and internal HR, Finance, and Legal teams.

You will drive process improvements, support onboarding of new entities, and provide accurate payroll reporting to inform compliance and business decisions. Hybrid London office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience managing end-to-end payroll across multiple European countries.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and social security requirements.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including external payroll vendors.
• Strong reporting, compliance and process-improvement capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries.
• Stay current with payroll legislation and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with payroll providers and internal HR, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Support onboarding of new countries/entities into payroll systems.
• Drive payroll process improvements and digital transformation.
• Maintain accurate payroll data and support audits.
• Produce payroll reporting and analysis for compliance and decision-making.
• Contribute to payroll projects, system upgrades, and policy harmonisation.
• Be the primary contact for employee payroll queries in the region.
