Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within the EMEA Network Acquisitions Planning team. You will scope requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across Google.

You will own and drive planning for network assets, including fibre and leased wavelengths, to meet forecast demand while following architecture guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in network infrastructure and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Drive EMEA network planning activities for asset/infrastructure planning to support product area demand forecasts over time.
• Project manage repeatable and transparent planning pipelines.
• Ingest, analyse, understand and rationalize demand forecasts for all EMEA related flows; translate these demand forecasts into regional capacity plans over time.
• Own and deliver in-depth technical risk assessments based on various what-if analyses to ensure the best technical solution is planned for across the network.
• Partner with internal business owners, technical teams, and negotiators to define requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and optimize business processes for the timely, cost-effective delivery and automation of EMEA network infrastructure.
