JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London seeks a senior data governance professional to lead UK SMF data risk management, govern FW BCBS239 frameworks, and drive alignment with global data policies across EMEA.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Technology functions to manage regulatory data initiatives. The role requires at least 8 years in finance/operations within large institutions, strong communication, and robust data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a finance/operations role at leading financial institutions.
• Understanding of data flows and data controls.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills tailored to management.
• Ability to work across multiple lines of business and functions.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (PitchPro).

Responsabilités

• Govern the UK SMF data risk management process
• Own the FW BCBS239 framework
• Run the monthly and annual process of gathering, checking and challenging evidence from FW BCBS239 risk report owners in relation to compliance of BCBS239 regulation
• Develop strategic options for senior management to consider in relation to alignment of FW and JPMSE BCBS239 frameworks
• Promote and improve awareness of data culture across the franchise
• Partner with EMEA CDO colleagues to define the data agenda and strategy inline with global firmwide policies and local regulatory requirements
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Government Relations, Technology and Cybersecurity Policy and Partnerships to be aware of data-related regulatory initiatives across the EMEA region and their impact to the data landscape.

EMEA CDO - Firmwide BCBS239 Framework and UK SMF Data Risk Management Governance at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm’s data and analytics journey. This includes ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the company's data, as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making.

The EMEA Chief Data Office (CDO) is part of the wider Firmwide Chief Data & Analytics Office (‘CDAO’) and is responsible for the adoption in EMEA of the Firmwide Chief Data Office Data Management Strategy, and ensuring data policies, governance and standards are applied consistently applied across all Lines Of Businesses and legal entities in EMEA.

Job Responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• B.A. in Finance or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance/ operations related field similar in leading financial institutions
• Understanding of data flows, and data controls
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to tailor a message to various levels of management
• Strong aptitude to work with a wide range of line of businesses and functions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly motivated individual with excellent time management & organizational skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (including PitchPro)
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, flexible and capable of engaging various functions, locations, and businesses

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in data-related or technology fields are a plus
