Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd is recruiting an EMC Compliance Manager for a Wigan, UK on-site role. You will oversee all testing activities related to product approvals and act as the technical authority.

The position requires a degree in Electronics or equivalent experience and supervision of a testing team. You will liaise with external testing bodies and lead an internal testing team to ensure compliance with EN54 standards, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics or 5 years experience + qualifications
• Supervisory experience (team leadership / management)
• Proven experience in approvals, compliance, regulatory affairs, certification etc
• Experience with EMC testing or design compliance
• Working knowledge of EN54 standards would be advantageous
• Open to occasional international travel

An electronics business in the Northwest is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for all testing activities related to product approvals. The company we are representing design and manufacture a range of consumer electronics governed by EN54 standards. You will be the technical authority for these matters and liaise with external testing bodies, as well as head up an internal testing team.
